The outstanding corrosion resistance of Hexoloy SiC, particularly in acids, makes it an ideal candidate for valve and valve trim applications. Hexoloy is used in demanding applications such as slurry flashing, HF acid handling and rare earth processing. Check valve components can handle environments other ceramic materials cannot survive. |
